"Couche-Tard Egg Hunt" Contest
1. CONTEST DURATION
The "Couche-Tard Egg Hunt" (the contest) organized by Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. ("Couche-Tard" or "the Organizer").
It begins on April 1st at 09:00 am Eastern Time ("EDT") and ends on April 15th, 2019 at 15:59:59 pm EDT (the "Contest Period").
The contest is open to all residents of Québec who have reached the age of 18 years of age on the date of entry. Contest Organizers, agents and representatives, their subsidiaries and affiliates, their advertising and promotional agencies, prize suppliers, equipment and services related to the Contest or Any other person directly involved in the contest and members of their immediate family are excluded from participating to this contest. For the purposes hereof, "immediate family" means fathers, mothers, siblings, children, legal or common-law spouse and all persons with whom such employees, agents and representatives are domiciled with.
Any information provided to Couche-Tard for the purposes of this Contest must be truthful, accurate and complete. The Couche-Tard reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who’s Registration Form or Release Form (as defined below) includes false, inaccurate or incomplete information.
3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To register, the participant must:
a. Download the Couche-Tard mobile app ( « the app » ) available for iOS at

b. Visit the ‘coupons’ section of the app
c. Click on a contest-identified coupon and click on ‘plus de détails’ to unveil the clue
d. Read the selected clue and identify the store it is about
e. If a store is identified, go to that store and ask to speak with the manager or assistant manager
f. Price claiming must but done between 9 :00 AM and 4 :00 PM
g. The manager must confirm if the clue is about his or her store
h. If the client is in the right store with the right clue, and if he is the first person to claim the prize, he/she will be granted a basket full of chocolats! If the client is not in right store, the manager will refuse the claim of the client
i. The winner must fill out a discharge form and hand it over to the manager or assistant manager in store once the claim is approved
j. When the claim is done, the winner must take a photo of himself/herself with the basket of chocolates and send it as a private message at https://www.facebook.com/CoucheTardQc/
k. By sending the picture, the winner accepts that it will be used by Couche-Tard to promote the contest
l. Three (3) different clues will be available, every day, within the coupon section of the app, for a period of 24 hours each
A. PRIZE: Forty (45) chocolates filled baskets valued at fifty (50) CAD dollars are to be won.
B. One (1) basket per winner up to a maximum of 45 winners.
C. TOTAL VALUE: All prizes have an estimated value of two thousand (2200) CAD dollars.
5. SELECTION OF WINNERS
A. Participants have until April 15th 15:59:59 to claim one (1) of the forty (45) prizes in participating stores.
B. In the case where a prize has not been claimed, it will be drawn among Facebook fans. In the event that Couche-Tard is unable to notify the second Finalist of a Prize within a reasonable period of time or if the second Finalist fails to respond to the Facebook message sent by Couche-Tard's representative within forty-eight (48) hours, the second Finalist will be disqualified and Couche-Tard will have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel the Prize in question (as defined below).
C. Couche-Tard will send the Prize and a Release Form (the "Release Form") by which the Finalist acknowledges and confirms that these Rules have been complied with and that Couche-Tard and any organization participating in the Contest, Or the Contest and their respective employees shall not be liable for any damages, accidents, losses or damages arising out of or in connection with this Contest, Prizes, use or awarding of the Prizes. The Release form will include a question of mathematical skill.
D. In order to be declared a winner of a Prize, each Finalist must correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question without assistance (including mechanical assistance) and must sign and return the Release Form in store during the prize claim, as set out in these Rules. Failing to do so for a Finalist, he / she will be considered to have abandoned the Prize for which he / she was selected and Couche-Tard will have the right, in its sole discretion, to select another Finalist or to cancel the Award.
6. PERSONAL INFORMATION
A. By entering the Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and disclosure by Couche-Tard or their authorized agents of their personal information provided in connection with the Contest for the purposes of administering the Contest and of the delivery of the Prizes.
B. Personal information may be disclosed to third parties for which Couche-Tard retains services for warehousing, management or other similar purposes, subject to applicable privacy laws and their internal policies to that end. The personal information record will be kept at the offices of Couche-Tard or their service providers or on their servers and employees who require it in order to perform their duties will have access to this file. To the extent permitted by law, individuals may request access to the record containing their personal information and correction of this information by contacting Couche-Tard.
C. By accepting a Prize, each of the Winners grants to Couche-Tard the right to produce, reproduce, publish, broadcast, transmit by telecommunication, exhibit, distribute, adapt, use or To re-use, in any manner whatsoever in connection with the Contest, its promotion or exploitation, its name, address (city, province), voice, statements, image, photographs or other representations and recordings for advertising purposes in any media And all formats, including but not limited to the Internet, without further notice or compensation, and any Winner may be required to sign a document to that effect.

8. RIGHTS TO CANCEL, SUSPEND OR MODIFY

B. Subject to the foregoing, Couche-Tard may at any time modify or terminate the Contest in whole or in part if, in its sole discretion, Couche-Tard determines that for any reason the Contest is not proceeding as intended Fraudulent manipulation, destruction, loss or theft of the Registration Forms or any other defect that could compromise the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
A. By entering or attempting to enter the Contest, each entrant or potential entrant agrees to:
i. Exempt, discharge and hold harmless, each and every one of the prize supplier and Couche-Tard, its directors, officers, employees, shareholders, agents or other representatives, its parent and affiliates from and against any and all claims, Action, cause of action, suit or liability of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the participation in the Contest or the attempt to enter the Contest, whether or not these Rules are complied with, The acceptance, possession, use or abuse of any Prize or any activity related to a Prize and any default on their part in the award or enjoyment of the Prizes;
ii. Fully indemnify each of the Sponsor and Couche-Tard and its directors, officers, employees, parent companies, subsidiaries, partners, sponsors and agents from and against any claims by third parties relating to this Contest and any breach of these Rules by the entrant or any Activity linked to a Prize and this, in a non-limiting manner.
iii. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with the participants, except with the participants selected as potential winners of a Prize.
iv. Couche-Tard reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify the Contest and any other contest or future promotion offered by Couche-Tard, any entrant who
1. does not comply with these Regulations;
2. alters or attempts to alter the participation process or the operation of the Contest; or
3. acts in an anti-sporting or disruptive manner or intends to disturb, abuse, threaten or harass another person.
B. Each Prize must be accepted as-is, without substitution in cash or otherwise, except as agreed by the prize supplier and Couche-Tard. Each Prize is non-transferable and non-transferable. The prize supplier and Couche-Tard reserve the right to substitute a Prize of equivalent value if any Prize cannot be awarded as provided for in these Rules. Any part of a Prize that is not accepted by a Winner concerned will be deemed to have been dropped. Couche-Tard makes no warranty whatsoever, either express or implied, regarding the safety, appearance or performance of any Prize or activity related to the Prize. By accepting a Prize, a Winner acknowledges that the only warranties applicable to any aspect of the Prize, if any, are warranties provided by the prize supplier to Couche-Tard that are transferable and / Or manufacturer's warranties. A Winner does not have any recourse against the Couche-Tard regarding any warranty related to the Prize in any circumstances whatsoever. In the event that a Winner does not use all or part of the Prize, for whatever reason, such person will not be financially compensated and will be void. Couche-Tard will under no circumstances be held liable for any event leading to the cancellation of a Prize or for events outside of its control causing any of the Prizes or any part thereof Of the Prizes is not awarded.
C. In the event of a dispute arising out of a Registration Form or the person who has submitted a Registration Form via his Facebook Profile, that Facebook Profile will be deemed to have been validated by the Authorized Account Holder at the time the Profile Facebook has been validated. For the purposes of this Regulation, "Authorized Account Holder" means the natural person who holds the e-mail address assigned by an Internet Service Provider, Internet Service Provider, or other organization assigning e-mail addresses for the domain linked to this email address being linked to the Facebook account in question. A Participant may be required to provide proof (in a form acceptable to Couche-Tard, including, but not limited to, photo identification issued by the Government of Quebec or Canada) that he is the Authorized Holder of Account associated with the participation in question.
D. Each of Couche-Tard reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to exclude from this Contest and any other contest or any future promotion held by Couche-Tard, any person who is guilty or suspected of having committed, Having tampered with the conduct of the Contest or the Page, for breaching these Rules or for acting in a manner that prejudices or intends to annoy, torment, threaten or harass another person. THE PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON DAMAGING THE PAGE OR ANY WEBSITE RELATED TO THE CONTEST, THE SPONSOR OR THE LAW-FOOTPRINT, OR TO INFRINGE THE LEGITIMATE EXPLOITATION OF THE CONTEST, MAKES A CRIMINAL INFRINGEMENT AND LOSS, AND EACH OF THE SPONSOR AND LAYER-TARD RESERVES, IN SUCH CASE, THE RIGHT TO REQUIRE ALL PERSONS OF ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER IT IS RIGHT TO REQUIRE BY LAW.
E. In the event of any discrepancy between the French version and the English version of these Rules, the French version shall prevail.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
A. All intellectual property rights in all promotional material and Page are the property of each of the Sponsor and Couche-Tard or its affiliates or licensors. All rights reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner or owner is prohibited. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
A. The Contest is not administered or sponsored by Facebook. The entrant will provide their personal information to Couche-Tard and not to Facebook. Facebook shall not be held liable in any way for any matter relating to this Contest.
12. APPLICABLE LAW
A. This is the Official Contest Rules. This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations applicable in Québec. Subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, races and games, the Contest Rules and Regulations may be amended without notice, in particular to conform to all federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any entity having jurisdiction to govern Couche-Tard.
13. REGULATION OF ALCOHOLS, RACES AND GAMES (RACJ)
A. For residents of Québec, a dispute concerning the organization or conduct of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, races et jeux for resolution. A dispute regarding the awarding of a Prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of an intervention in an attempt to resolve it.
14. LIST OF WINNERS
A. Couche-Tard will post the name of each Winner on the Page within thirty (30) days of the last prize's claim for a period of at least thirty (30) days.
